I have purchased a package through Zuji Singapore from 17 June 10 - 21 June 10 by Singapore Airline to Hilton Iru Fushi Maldives. After I have made the payment, I realised that (i) I could never reach the Hotel on 17 June 10 as the only transport to the island is by seaplane which does not operate at night time (ii) The hidden cost is the seaplane transfer which costs USD420 per person (iii) The additional cost to me is also the accommodation transit in Male to the island on 17 June 10.

I have contacted Zuji the next day early morning, however my calls were not attended to after waiting for 10-15 minutes each call. A guy picked up my call after my 3rd attempt and I have explained my situation to him and wanted to change my flight from 17 June 10 to 16 June 10 so that I could enjoy my first night in Hilton. I was just given an answer, 'No amendment and no refund are allowed for package'. I told him I did not want a refund but just wanted to change my flight, however the answer is also No' He kept mentioning to me 'Non refundable and non changeable'. So, my first night on 17 June 10 has been forfeited and unutilized.

I left no choice my contacted Hilton's representative, Areef Adam who mentioned to me that the Hotel was willing to refund my first night provided that Zuji has written to them on this matter. However, I was informed by Areef that Zuji has never replied to Hilton's email on this matter and he told me that the Hotel could write me a confirmation letter to Zuji mentioning that I was not be able to check-in on 17 June 2010 and have not stayed in the Hotel on this day and Zuji should refund this money to customer.

Apparently, I could get back any refund from them due to the terms and conditions that have been stipulated in the contract which I have only got to see them after I made the payment.

I am writing this review mainly to highlight the above issues to those using Zuji to purchase package. Zuji will not entertain customers in such circumstance even though they do not make things clear to customers. I guess this is Zuji's trick of making money. Beware of this !!!

Zuji is a con. I bought a ticket which was advertised as refundable. However when I cancelled they refused to honour the refund, saying the ticket was actually non-refundable. Zuji's website is intentionally misleading in order to sell dodgy tickets to consumers.

I proved to their manager live over the phone that their website was showing the wrong conditions, yet they didn't care (claimed the website was under maintenance). If you run into any technicalities with Zuji, do not expect any service from them. Avoid.

bought a package with them to Japan this year. everything went smooth and their website is very user friendly. will definitely use them again
